Founder-market fit
Dale Dune: 23 years in the Marine Corps, retired Master Sergeant, and 1,000+ documented rideshare rides with a 5.0 rating on a third-party platform as of September 2026. The customer and the operator are both populations he has been part of.

The installation-access wedge
Transportation to, from, and around military installations is structurally underserved because access rules make it awkward for general-purpose platforms. Designing for that constraint rather than around it is the wedge. Any actual access would require authorization AMETION does not currently hold.

Operator trust as the differentiator
Supply is the binding constraint in this category. Transparent economics, paid wait time, and a written remediation process are proposed as the acquisition and retention strategy, not as marketing.

A milestone-financed pilot
A single pilot at Camp Pendleton, financed against defined milestones rather than a broad launch. Demonstrate demand, operator supply, and unit-level operations in one corridor before expanding.
Current stage
Validation phase. Pilot pending authorization, insurance, and regulatory readiness. AMETION is pre-incorporation, pre-pilot, and pre-revenue, and is not providing transportation services.
The proposed first service area is Camp Pendleton and the North County corridor. Current activity is demand collection, operator pipeline development, and the diligence required before a pilot can be authorized.
Unresolved milestones
- Corporate formation and governance.
- Commercial auto and liability insurance placement.
- State and local transportation regulatory compliance.
- Installation access arrangements through the proper authority — none exist today.
- Operator supply sufficient to run a real pilot.
- Documented rider demand in the pilot corridor.
- Technology build and vendor selection.
